A Note from Ruth . . .

Here in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, March brought several heavy snowstorms, one with lengthy power outages and an interruption of Internet and phone service. Snow and ice on the roads disrupted package deliveries, and we had to wait (endlessly, it seemed!) for our highly anticipated arrival of copies of the new books—Site Fidelity and A Gunthwaite Girl.

Weather also delayed a few shipments of books to our distributor’s warehouse; this problem is being resolved as fast as possible.

The arrival of April brought yet another snowstorm.  But throughout all these storms, we kept the path shoveled to the bird feeders, the driveway eventually got plowed, neighbors checked on neighbors, and while crews worked hard to restore power during that long outage we realized once again how wholeheartedly our town can rally in an emergency.

And now we are ready for spring. Are we ever!
